C38a I Have Come to Set the World on Fire, Luke 12:49-53

Jesus came to give us a burning knowledge of God's love and forgiveness. Fire spreads quickly. Jesus wanted his words to spread quickly all over the world. When you hear the word of the Lord, you can choose to believe it or not to believe it. It is your choice. Jesus came to live, die, and rise from the dead so that God the Father would forgive you and all the rest of the people in the world of sin. Jesus opened the gates of heaven for you. Out of five people that hear God's word, three might believe and two might not. Choose to believe and live forever with God in heaven.
