C31a Jesus Foretells His Death and Resurrection, Luke 9:18-24

Jesus told his disciples that he was going to suffer, be killed, and rise again on the third day. People thought he was a great prophet like John the Baptist or Elijah. His disciples knew he was the Messiah of God. He did not want them to tell anyone. You are lucky today. You can tell everyone about how Jesus died on the cross so that you could be forgiven.
