C27a The Splinter in Your Brother's Eye, Luke:39-45 Copyright © 2006 Joan Y. Edwards. http:⁄⁄www.joanyedwards.com. All rights reserved. Sometimes you see the splinter in your brother's eye, but you don't see the big chunk of wood in your own eye. In other words, you see what's wrong with someonelse, but fail to see that there is anything wrong with yourself. Jesus wants us to leave the judging to him. It is difficult not to fuss and carry on about the faults of others, but Jesus asks you to forgive your brother and forgive yourself. Jesus died on the cross so that your sins and those of your brother could be forgiven.
