B37a My Soul Proclaims the Greatness of the Lord, Luke 1:46-55, Feast of the Assumption

Be like Mary. Be excited about doing the will of God. She said, "My soul proclaims the goodness of the Lord." She was excited about doing the will of God. Her spirit rejoiced in God, her savior. When God does good things for you, remember to say "Thank you, Lord." Tell others how good God is to you. Be excited about loving God above all things. When God asks you a favor, do it because you love and trust in his goodness. Sing a song of praise to God. Smile when you usually frown. Help someone, even if you are busy. God is never too busy for us. Like Mary, find time to help God's people. He will rejoice and be glad you are his child.
