B37 I Came Down from Heaven, John 6:35,41-51, Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Jesus came down from heaven to be the living bread for your soul. He puts out bread for you every day. When you eat the bread, the Holy Spirit fills you with seven gifts: wisdom, knowledge, good judgment, courage, understanding, reverence of God, and awe of the Lord. These gifts are like magnets. When you use them, they pull you to Jesus and the kingdom of heaven.
