B2 Baptism of Repentance, Mark 1:1-8, Second Sunday in Advent

God loves it when we obey his commandments. If we have gone off the pathways, then he wants us to repent and be sorry for our actions. He has given us the gift of baptism. This baptism of water will wipe the sins away from our souls. We will be clean, clean, clean. It's like going through a car wash...only it's a soul wash! We need to have our souls washed to get into heaven. The Holy Spirit can wipe our souls clean...He does "Dry cleaning of the soul." He doesn't use water. God the Father is so good to us. He forgives us when we make the mistake of letting our feet cross over the line into sinfulness.
