In the Upper Room Jesus changed the bread and wine into his body and blood. He gave the Apostles the power to do the same thing in memory of him. Each time you go to Mass the priest changes the bread and wine into the actual body and blood of Christ. When you receive the Holy Eucharist you are tasting and receiving the body and blood of Christ. It will energize you and bless you so you can keep away from evil habits. It will help you get closer to almighty God.
