In the Gospel today Jesus' disciples plucked a few ripe grains of wheat and ate them. Jesus healed a man whose hand was shriveled and small. The Pharisees said they should not do these things on the Sabbath. Jesus said the Sabbath was made to help man receive rest and blessings from his creator. It was not made to keep man from receiving what he needed on the Sabbath...such as food or healing. Sit and talk with God today. Thank him for his many blessings to you. Tell him you love him very much.
