When you are giving food, clothing, or money to the poor, don't blow a trumpet before you. Don't put it in the newspapers, or put it on the latest news on television. God wants you to help others because you love him, not because you want to be noticed. God will reward you for helping his people. God sees everything you do and is very thankful.
