A7 Baptism of Jesus, Matthew 3:13-17, First Sunday in Ordinary Time

After Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River, the sky opened up and a voice said, "This is my Son, with whom I am well pleased." When babies, children, and⁄or adults are baptized, God is very happy. When you do something wrong, say, "I'm sorry, Lord. Please forgive me." It is like a mini-baptism. God forgives you. Then he says to the Angels in heaven, "This is my child with whom I am well pleased."
