A38 Lord Help Me, Matthew 15:21-28, Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time Copyright © 2005-2008 Joan Y. Edwards. All Rights Reserved. www.joanyedwards.com⁄ How many times have you said, "Lord, help me?" One thousand times, more or less. Each time you asked I know the Lord has helped you. Perhaps he didn't give you exactly what you wanted, but he gave you what was best for you. When you are about to give up, be sure to talk with God and say, "Lord, help me." If you don't think he heard you, it's okay to keep asking him over and over again. Then he knows that you truly believe that he will help you. He will answer your prayers. Be filled with faith in God's love and mercy. You are forgiven. He will give you the help you need. He is the leader of the lost sheep.
