A31 Love God More, Matthew 10:37-42, Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

God wants us to love him more than anything or anybody. His commandment: "I am the Lord, thy God. Thou shalt not have strange gods before me." Jesus rewords this commandment: "Love God with all your heart, with all your might, and with all your soul." Put God before television programs, soccer games, family and friends. God wants you to think of him first.
