St. Patrick is the patron Saint of Ireland. He used a shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity. One shamrock stands for one God. Three leaves on the shamrock stands for the three persons in one God. It made the idea simple. Pagans begin to understand and believe in God. St. Patrick made a difference to the people he met. You make a difference with all the people you meet, too. People learn about the goodness of God by the way you treat them.
