God wanted to show off the greatness of his Son, Jesus Christ.  Therefore, he let rays of light come from the face and body of Jesus.  His apostles were filled with awe.  When you do little things for other people, your whole body soul lights up.  If God is looking down on the earth, he can tell where you are doing little things for him.  He can follow your light. You might look like tiny lightning bugs below him. Lightning bugs blink their lights to find a mate.  You are blinking your lights with good deeds to show God that you love him.
