Pray without bragging. Don't stand outside and say, "Look at me. I am holy because I am praying." Pray in secret rather than showing off to people. God wants you to pray by talking just to him. He wants you to mean what you say.  Talk to God like you talk to your friends.  He will understand you. Tell him how much you love him. Thank him and praise him for all he has done for you. Ask him to help you in areas where you are having trouble.  God is your best friend.  Be a good friend to him.
