A11c Love Your Enemies, Matthew 5:38-48, Seventh Sunday in Lent

Jesus said, "Love your enemies." If someone treats you with meanness, he wants you to treat them with kindness. Instead of hating your enemy. Jesus wants you to go to a higher level. He wants you to show love, mercy, and forgiveness for your enemy. He wants you to pray for all of your enemies, just like you pray for your friends. When you pray for your enemies, God will turn things around in your favor. God will make good things come out of every mistake.
