Hear Flip’s song, click one of the ducks.

Flip Flap Floodle is treasured by children 2-8 years old.

Flip Flap Floodle is a happy little duck who goes to show Grandma how well he can play on his new flute. Confident that his song will save him from Mr. Fox, he runs into a little problem when Mr. Fox doesn’t like his song. Flip doesn’t give up. He keeps playing his song. His song and his mother’s pocketbook and pepper encourage Mr. Fox to leave the little duck alone.

Teachers, Natalie Sanchez and Dan Barber praise Edwards’ book and classroom presentation on You-Tube. Watch video.

#8 Print Flip eyes shut.jpg

Flip was so afraid that he forgot about playing his song to keep him safe. He thought, “I’ll just close my eyes and walk right by Mr. Fox. That way he won’t see me.”

Flip shut his eyes and waddled bravely through the woods, holding his flute close by his side.
