(This
is the first Sunday in Advent, Cycle C.
Cycle C will center on
Be vigilant at all times and pray that you have the
strength to escape the tribulations that are imminent and to stand before the
Son of Man.
Life is a
simple game of hide and seek. You
seek the good. You hide from the
evil. You try to find the good
things. You try to hide from the bad
things. You hug the good in your
life. You spit out the bitter things in
life. What you need is a new pair of
glasses. These glasses have an outline
of something on the lens that will help you remember what is most important in
your life. What symbol would be perfect
for you? An outline of

glasses kit and ideas on how to use them
How do you build strength of body? Walking, running, lifting
weights.
How do you build your mind?
How do you build your soul? Forgiving yourself and
others, praying, reading the Bible, going to Church, helping others, obeying
the Ten Commandments.
If God were to call you now, would you
be ready? Are there some things you want
to do before
This is your time to prepare the way for
God’s son. This is Advent…the time
before Christmas to prepare your body and soul for the
coming of
Look around you with your new glasses
with the symbol of
Then pray the “Our Father” asking God to
give you the strength you need to always stay close to him so that you will
always be ready when
“Our Father, who
art in Heaven,
Hallowed
be Thy name.
Thy
kingdom come.
Thy
will be done,
On
earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread.
And
forgive us our trespasses,
As
we forgive those who trespass against us.
And
lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
