Hear his heavenly call.

Love your neighbor as yourself.

Leave selfishness on the shelf.

Love God above all.

Love God above television.

Love God above computers.

Love God above toys.

Love God above food.

Love God above drinks.

Love God above books.

Love God above resentment and anger.

Love God above your best friend.

When you are tempted to love money, remember it is a gift from God. If you don’t use it wisely, it can be taken away from you. If you share what you have to help others, your money will multiply.

When you love God as you should, you make time for him every day. You will tell him and show him that you love him. You will tell him that you need him. You will tell him you are so very thankful that he made you. Read the Bible. Do kind things for others to show God that you love him.

Choose God over material things. Choose God in all ways and in all things.

Say the “Our Father” and ask God to help you realize how much he means to you. Ask him to forgive you, if you have been putting too much importance on other things or people.

“Our Father, who art in Heaven,

Hallowed be Thy name.

Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done,

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day, our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

As we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
