“All Sins and All Blasphemies”
All sins and all blasphemies
uttered by man will be forgiven. However, any blasphemy against the Holy Spirit
will not be forgiven. Those words sound confusing. Blasphemy is showing disrespect for God by
words and/or actions. The job of the Holy Spirit on earth is to get you to have
sorrow for you sins. He wants you to repent. Repent has two parts. First part
is being sorry for your sins. The second part of repent is making a reasonable
plan for not committing that sin ever again.
If you give credit to the
devil that belongs to the Holy Spirit, you will push the Holy Spirit away. You
will close the door in his face. He will not be able to convince you to repent
if you pushed him away. If he is not able to keep inside you, he will not be
able to fill you with wisdom and understanding. He will not be able to fill you
with courage and right judgment. If he is ten miles away, he will not be able
to explain to you how wonderful God the Father and his only begotten Son are.
If you do not believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, he will stay clear of
you. The Holy Spirit is God. If you turn your back on God and do not seek him
and his forgiveness, you will not be forgiven.
So my advice is give credit to
God that belongs to God. Always seek the advice of the Holy Spirit in all your
dealings. He can give you plenty of power to push the devil away. He will fill
you with wisdom and right judgment so that you make fewer mistakes. Give thanks
to God every day for sending the Holy Spirit to help you solve your problems.
He makes you well. He fills your mind with ways to show God that you love him
above all things. He shows you how to
pray to God the Father. He fills you with courage to live, even when things are
looking way, way down. The Holy Spirit fills you with joy and peace. He helps
you share love and forgiveness with others.
Say the “Our Father.” Ask God
to send the Holy Spirit to you. The Holy Spirit can help you survive physically
and spiritually on earth. Whatever you need, the Holy Spirit can give it to
you. He has the gifts. He has every gift you would want or need. Just ask the
Holy Spirit for what you need. Don’t push him away in favor of the devil. The
devil makes you think his words are true. They are lies. Believe in God the
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Trust in the ways of the Lord. Then you will get
to heaven.
“Our
Father, who art in Heaven,
Hallowed
be Thy name.
Thy
kingdom come.
Thy
will be done,
On
earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread.
And
forgive us our trespasses,
As
we forgive those who trespass against us.
And
lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
