Joan is an author, illustrator, and motivational speaker. She writes articles and offers workshops to inspire children and adults to set goals and offers ways to achieve them. She also teaches ways to improve writing and marketing skills. She encourages writers and illustrators to submit work to critique groups, publishers, agents, and contests often to improve their chances to be published in a group called PubSubbers. Joan is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). She enjoys spending time with family and friends. She celebrates life with love and laughter.
